Sunflower hybrids from "Limagrain"

One of the most important factors determining how good the yield will be, both in quality and quantity, is the seeds that are used for planting.

One of company's activities in the Ukrainian market is distribution of high-quality hybrid seeds for planting. Today we use for our own farming and offer to everybody interested sunflower hybrids "Diabolo" and "Magnum", produced by "Limagrain".

DIABOLO (LXH 248/10)
Mid-early sunflower hybrid, vegetation period - 110 to 115 days

• Resistant to all races of Mildew (RM version)
• Feebly susceptible to lodging
• Not very susceptible to Phomopsis
• Resistant to Orobanche races
• Good tolerance to root Sclerotinia

"Diabolo" has been tested by "State Commission of Ukraine for Testing and Protection of plant varieties" in 10 locations (Steppe lands). The hybrid has yielded in average 2.81 MT per hectare (max.- 4.01 MT per hectare).

"Diabolo" has proved to be well-adapted to soil and climate conditions of Central and Eastern Europe.

Optimal density by the beginning of harvesting is 55000 to 65000 plants per hectare.

MAGNUM (VR 5224)
Mid-early sunflower hybrid, vegetation period - 112 to 117 days

• Resistant to Mildew
• Feebly susceptible to lodging
• Not very susceptible to Phomopsis
• Resistant to Orobanche races
• Good tolerance to root Sclerotinia

"Magnum" has been tested by "State Commission of Ukraine for Testing and Protection of plant varieties" in 10 locations (Steppe lands). The hybrid has shown the average yield of 2.84 MT per hectare (max.- 4.36 MT per hectare).

"Magnum" has proved well-adapted to soil and climate conditions of Central and Eastern Europe.

Optimal density by the beginning of harvesting is 53000 to 63000 plants per hectare.

The seeds are supplied in bags containing 150 thousand seeds each. Price estimate for 1 planting unit (1 bag) is an equivalent of 51 US dollars (V.A.T not included).
